Sherry Trifle was first established at a home studio in Shropshire in the year 2000, by Stationery designer Sue Wilding and Print Finisher Carole Perry. Sue had had many years exhibiting her work at craft fayres through out the UK and Carole had been in the commercial printing industry for over fifteen years.
In 2003 they moved to their Stafford shop premises, and focused solely on the demand for their wedding stationery designs, and wedding day accessories. They took a partnership with Collisons, and CCA printed stationery, to compliment their handcrafted ranges, and also became agents for ‘Blush’ by Metropolis hand finished stationery, based in London.
2004 saw the first national advertising campaign and the launch of their website. They were joined by craft worker Helen.
In 2006, they were joined by Art graduate Danni Lainton, who brought new ideas and designs for Christening, party and corporate stationery. 2006 also saw the change from a 'Wedding Shop' back to a Stationery studio at Foregate Street, to cope with the now national and international demand for their stationery. July 2006, will see the launch of their sister companies 'the bride wore black' and 'Goth invites' focusing on their passion of all thing Goth.
There are now have several agents working for them in the UK for customers who live too far to visit the studio. If you would like to know more about job vacancies, or agency availabilities, please feel free to e-mail or call.
